About
Fluorityx’s cutting-edge PFAS water detection technology provides low-cost, on-site, rapid testing at performance levels 100X more sensitive than the next-best device in the market.
Our Story
Fluorityx evolved out of Professor Tim Swager’s laboratory in MIT’s Chemistry Department and now operates as an independent company. MIT has granted Fluorityx with the exclusive license to all patents.
Our first-generation PFAS polymer sensors are built on the design architecture behind a successfully commercialized explosive detection system originated in Professor Swager’s MIT lab in 2002 and deployed across the military and homeland security agencies today.
The Tech
Our success comes from the PFAS sensing capabilities of a specially designed amplifying fluorescent polymer (AFP)
Proven Technology
Developed at MIT
Rapid Response
Fluorescence signature shifts as it attracts more PFAS
Polymer Design
Designed to attract PFAS molecules
Real-time Results
Simple sampling protocols provide quick turn around of results
Sensitivity
Highly sensitive for a variety of PFAS compounds
Finance
Designed to be up to 10x cheaper than an LCMS sample
